Broughton House – Can help you with crisis accommodation

  • somewhere to go that is safe and comfortable
  • for young people aged 15 to 18 years who are struggling with accommodation or housing issues (sometimes we can help if you are older or younger than this age bracket – call or text us to find out)
  • is a friendly homelike environment based in Albury close to town
  • operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week by helpful, friendly workers
  • provides accommodation for up to 12 weeks to enable longer term plans to be made
  • up to four other young people, who share similar experiences, may also be staying at Broughton House
  • can provide you with a break or ‘time out’ from you current living arrangements
  • can support you and your family depending on your needs
  • can support you to stay connected with school, work, friends and family

  • for young people aged 16 to 24 years
  • can support you no matter where you are currently living
  • assists you to find your own place and help you to gain the skills you will need to live independently
  • assists you to set and achieve your personal goals
  • provides support for up to 18 months if needed

The Community Access, Information and Referral Service

  • Provides information and referral to all available housing options including crisis accommodation and longer term housing
  • Operates from The HUB weekdays between the hours of 9am to 3pm and 1pm to 5pm on Wednesdays
  • You can call and chat if you prefer
  • Appointments are not necessary
  • Can also assist with information about a range of other services which may be of help
